Scientists Figure Out Sarcasm ... ... Hey, Good For Them.

I did sort of notice that when I'm on the internet there's this fireworks show going on in my brain's right ventro-medial area.

Apparently, one of their goals was to figure out why we Americans have less irony in our culture. I'm not terribly surprised that it didn't come down to national brain damage, though I'm betting the Brits were anticipating just that sort of explanation.

I think Britons just feel bad about having bad teeth and a monarchy, so they develop a better sense of humor. Sort of like fat kids.
